A Voyage to St. Kilda
(28 photos)
St. Kilda is a World Heritage site, a group of tiny islands in the Atlantic Ocean, 40 miles west of Scotland's Western Isles; until 1930 it was home to a small community that survived on sea birds, livestock and some farming with little contact from the outside world. Today it is accessible only by small boat or helicopter.
